Scope of use
Use of the IRISK website and the materials published electronically, as well as all hard copy reports, briefings and other documents or tools are subject to the following terms and conditions. The following terms and conditions shall apply for as long as the IRISK documents, publications and tools are used by the Company.
Disclaimer
While IRISK endeavours to ensure that the information in the IRISK publications and the sample tools are correct, IRISK Maplecroft will not be liable for any errors, inaccuracies or delays in content, or for any actions taken in reliance thereon that is not covered by a legal contract between end-user and the company.
IRISK may make changes to the material hosted on the website as they wish at any time without notice. Information hosted on the Verisk Maplecroft websites may be out of date, and Verisk Maplecroft makes no commitment to update the online materials, though it will willingly do so to the extent that it is commercially practicable.
In case any third party content is provided by IRISK website, IRISK does not guarantee the accuracy of the views or opinions given by the third party. Though IRISK may contain references and links to other publications and/or sources of information, IRISK does not endorse or take responsibility for the content of such other publications and/or sources – whether online or otherwise.
Using IRISK tools and forms without legal contract shall have no liability on the company, and IRISK shall not be responsible for business and legal conclusions judgments and decisions made with respect to the use of such online materials.
IRISK is a licensed private business and it does not belong to or not related by any way to any governmental body.
Liability
IRISK excludes all liability and responsibility for any amount or kind of loss or damage that may result to users or third parties (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, use of money, or loss or damages arising from or connected in any way to business interruption, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise) in connection with the IRISK publications and tools in any way or in connection with the use, inability to use or the results of use of the IRISK publications and tools. In no event shall IRISK, its employees, agents or board be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, loss profits direct or indirect, arising from IRISK services. The Company assumes full and complete responsibility for all uses and applications of IRISK services.
The intellectual property rights by IRISK publications and services provided to the user are exclusive and are not, by anyway, permitted for sharing or using by any other external side but user itself. The user will promptly notify IRISK of any claim subject to this indemnification.
This exclusion of liability will include but not be limited to loss or damage due to viruses that may infect your computer equipment, software, data or other property on account of your access to, use of, or browsing of the IRISK publications or your downloading of any material from the IRISK website or any websites linked to the IRISK publications.
Redistribution
Except where detailed below, any republication or redistribution of the IRISK publications, materials, work samples, tools or their content is expressly prohibited without the prior written consent of IRISK. The user shall hold the IRISK publications in strictest confidence and shall not copy, disclose, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the composition or underlying information, structure or ideas of IRISK publications, work samples or tools. Users agree that IRISK and the information contained therein are confidential information of IRISK.
One organization, one licence
IRISK resources are provided organisation-wide, under a ‘one organization, one licence’ policy, it means the organization, or the company is allowed to have one user at IRISK portal.
Trademarks
Unless otherwise agreed in writing with IRISK, nothing in these Terms of Use gives you a right to use any of IRISK trademarks, trade names, logos, domain names, and other distinctive brand features.
Services
In case a user decides to proceed and use one or more of IRISK services, it means the business will be transferred from IRISK website and no longer considered virtual. IRISK will apply alternative conditions in a form of written legal contract to be agreed between the two parties.
